Fantasy illustration I made for practice and portfolio. Wanted to see how I'd be able to pull off some sort of "pose" without any reference. I guess there are some flaws here and there. But I'm fairly happy with the outcome. Water is such a fucking blast to paint though, I thoroughly enjoyed painting that. And I feel more comfortable painting faces without reference, as well. But I got to keep practicing and improve! The thing that bothers me a little is the bottom of the piece.. something about it.. a reason could be that at the inital stages the painting was cropped at her right ankle. Felt it hurt the overall feeling and decided to make more room for her legs and the water. But oh well. Nuff' time spent on this now!

I hope you like it, and thank you for looking

EDIT: Made some very minor changes with the legs (and some other small stuff) that bothered me a little. It really made it a lot better!

EDIT2: Further improvements :)

Wow! Great! What a majestetic position... And the view in her eyes... If it wouldn't be against the bible, I would pray to you... :D

I may encounter a copyright-problem with the illustration on this card: [link] (It wasn't my fault. !FlaminJ has tricked me) and now I'm looking for a nice artist, who gives me the permission to use his image as an illustration, to avoid legal problems. More like this led me to this page and now I'd like to ask, if I may use your image as an illustration. The card game will be available for everyone and for free. This is pretty solid. As for the bottom, it could maybe use some more directioning lines (to the center), although it's up to you. (:

Amazing. I don't know how, but I can almost feel the slight tension that bow is under as she pulls back the string.
