I actually looked at this incorrectly; to me the robot head first looked like some kind of spaceship, with the top of the head being the front of the ship!

Great piece either way.

that's kind of funny, because it started out being a space ship of some sort. I then saw this "head" shape in the back of the design and decided to go with that instead :) thanks!

Ah, that's cool!

It's actually inspired a moment in a story of mine; after a long, tense and drawn-out battle in space, the heroes crash their ship on a beach on a backwater world that nobody visits at all. They scrounge parts together and restore the ship and fly off. Basically a much calmer, more relaxed portion after a lot of intense action stuff beforehand.

I think this is fabulous - the overall atmosphere is stunning; I can feel the damp air, the cold, and the barren wind.

The sky is gloriously depicted enhancing the coming storm, and the mech - could easily be a statue - emphasises bleakness to perfection.

This is art at its best I think sir :) I am inspired to do better now :D

You managed to sell the scale, without many references for scale in the image, NICE!! Would have been cool to see the thing while alive

Glad you think so! I actually thought so too. I think the waves make you estimate the scale quite well. Thanks!
