Just practicing some concept art. Came up with these three dudes, learned a couple of very useful techniques when doing stuff like this. And it was a lot of fun! Now back to some illustrations and anatomy studies!

How you come up with so many designs of basically the same thing?

hehe if I only remembered what I was talking about

I think it was the basic process, if I'm not mistaken I started with some basic black silhouettes. Then went on to put on grey chunks of armor/metal, and from there I just started to define them. Finally putting some basic color on. Probably with an overlay layer... hope that helped some

If I ever get the time these day's I'll do one and upload to youtube!

Its #3 all the way.
Great designs, nice thick armor, lots of volume and the variations on color is subtle but works so well.
Also, the extra detail taken with the tiny men helps the whole thing out, Def worth a fav.
